Punishment for RAPE - The Cabinet's Decision?
I'm going to be utterly discrete on this. People may have forgotten about the horrendous series of incidents that took place over the past few weeks. People tend to mourn them the first few days and then forget about the entire incident as if it never took place. That is where I step in. I, through my blogs, will be a continuous reminder to all of my readers, reminding you of all the suffering that these fiends have brought upon our nation. I for one will never stop reminding you about the danger that we face, the threat that we are exposed to, and that same threat that, if we don't do something about it, will be the end of us as a nation. I won't stop till the families of the oppressed get justice. Till we become the voice of those people that are hopeless, without any support and those that are unable to speak for themselves out of fear and constant threats. Till the traumatized victims are served justice and the scarred families of the victims, the oppressed no longer yearn for justice, I and my blogs will be a constant reminder to all of you. I haven't forgotten and I won't let any of you forget it either.
Sheikhupura Gang-Rape:
Another day another heart shattering incident, but to the ones that have power, the ones who are above us or at least consider themselves to be, the ones that should be taking a stand against this disease that has infected us as a nation and has made it into the breeding ground of all malice, it's just another day out of the normal for them. This woman that was gang-raped, she was a wife, a daughter, a sister. It's heartbreaking to know about the condition she had to suffer this animosity in. She was with her husband and they were both in search of a job as they had ran out of money, this is what eats me alive. They were in search of a job for God's sake, they wanted to earn their livelihood. My God what abyss has this nation fallen into, what has become of us? A nation where not even the dead, the ones that are laid to rest, are dug out of their graves just to satisfy this temporary hunger, the lust that feeds on the individuals of this sick nation. A nation where newborns are raped, where the elderly fall preys to such monstrosities, how can I expect something from such a nation? May the Lord have mercy, but truth be told, a nation like this doesn't deserve God's mercy, it deserves to be in ruins.
The defilers, these monsters, these pigs incarnated in the form of humans, thanks to the government once again, for not taking action, have been successful in scarring yet another family, sending a perfectly normal human into an endless trauma that will haunt her and her family for the rest of their lives. Just one week after the Motorway Incident - Lahore, another humanity-defying act takes place. Our Prime Minister, Mr. Imran Khan has passed his decision that orders the chemical castration of the rapists. Our government claims to have a reputable international image, and that they wouldn't dare to do anything to ruin it. Let me add in a little depth to it, TO HELL WITH YOUR IMAGE AND TO HELL WITH YOU! This gang-rape is one out of the other thousands of cases that will take place every single week if we don't stand against it and force the authorities to take a strict action against this. The rape culture that once India was famous for, well now Pakistan has become just that. I am not strong enough to feel what the families that have been victims to this barbarism feel, however my own family, the kids and the elders, they are afraid to leave their homes. How many more women have to get raped for this nation to rise as one and demand a change?
Great work
